Georgia Fugitive Arrested in Holt County

A fugitive from Georgia, wanted on several felony warrants, was being held in the Holt County Missouri Jail after he was arrested Monday afternoon. 
 The Missouri State Patrol arrested 25-year-old Willie Nelson of Wren, Georgia following a traffic stop.  Nelson was wanted on felony warrants from Richmond County, Georgia.  Charges include assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 
 Nelson was being held without bond in the Holt County Jail.
 The State Patrol also reports the arrest just after noon Monday of 28-year-old Monica Martin of McMinnvile, Tennessee.  Martin was charged with a Class C felony count of possession of a controlled substance after Troopers stopped her for speeding at the 95 mile marker of southbound Interstate 29 in Holt County. 
Martin was clocked going 87 miles-per-hour in a 70 mile-per-hour zone.  She was booked into the Holt County Jail.
