(KLZA)-- Holt County Missouri Commissioners recently entered into a lease-purchase agreement for a used Highway Patrol car in the amount of $14,250. The interest rate will be three percent. Kevin Helzer, Manager of the Home Exchange Bank in Oregon, presented the agreement.
R.T. Turner with Kansas City Power and Light met with Commissioners to discuss construction of a transmission line across the northern part of Holt County. KCP&L submitted a proposal to enter into a roadway agreement with Commissioners. They agreed to post a $50,000 bond as assurance the roadway surfaces will be returned to pre-construction condition.
The Board agreed to the plan. Construction is expected to begin in June of this year.
Board members also approved a request form Road and Bridge Supervisor Daryl Biermann to purchase a drill press.
