The board also is making strides on a proposed bond issue for voter that would be put toward renovations at the school.
Myers says they heard options the school can do without having to raise the mill levy, including adding a project that they previously didn’t think they could renovate.

The board also approved the RFQ and RFP specifications for a construction manager at-risk if the bond measure passes a vote of the people.
The board also approved to have a public hearing at 6:45 prior to the June 4th school board meeting to republish this year’s budget to modify the under-estimation of over-estimating of the KPERS budget for employee retirement.
The board also finalized the arrival of new middle school principal Brian Hanson and transfer of new assistant middle school principal Chad Bilderback.
They will be replacing retiring principal Jim Krone and departing assistant principal Chris Kase, who took a head principal position at Fort Leavenworth Middle School.
