A public hearing on the fiscal year 2012-12 Budget is part of the agenda when the Mound City Board of Aldermen meets Thursday evening. The board meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at City Hall.
The public hearing will include a review of the proposed budget, capital expenditures, pre-payment of long-term debts, and employee salaries.
Old business for the board includes an item pertaining to bids for the sale of property at 611 State Street.
The new business portion of the meeting includes renewal of liquor licenses and consideration of the application for a new license.
Aldermen will also hear department reports, will consider awarding a contract for concrete at the equipment building, and will consider appointing a new Building Inspector.
