The Jefferson County North Lady Chargers put themselves in the championship game of the KSHSAA 2A State Championship Tournament Friday night defeating Republic County 61-43.
JCN raced to a 20-0 lead and led 26-2 after the first quarter. From there, the outcome of the game was never in doubt. Bank of Atchison "Player of the Game" Jordan Kramer (5'7", Sr) paced the way with 30 points in the win. She has rolled up 57 in the first 2 games of the state tournament. Jacee Kramer (5'6", Soph) dropped in 21.
The Lady Chargers (23-1) will face the Olpe Lady Eagles (23-0) at 4:00 Saturday afternoon in Bramlage Coliseum, Manhattan. Olpe has a 70+ game winning streak in place and is the #1 seed.
