(KAIR) -- The Jefferson County North school board will have to look for a new elementary and middle school principal.
The board accepted the resignation of Brandan Giltner Monday night, effective at the end of the school year.
Giltner has accepted an administrative position with the Jefferson West school district.
The board also accepted the resignation of middle school math teacher Mary Whisler effective the end of the school year.
In addition, the board set their 2013-14 school calendar.
Students will return to class August 13th and their last day will be May 22nd, 2014.
