(KAIR) -- Select staff will see a salary increase for next school year after the USD 409 School Board ratified the annual agreement with the Atchison National Education Association Monday night.
Superintendent Susan Myers says raises for the teachers are due.

Classified and certified staff also got one-time bonuses as part of the agreement for the 2012-13 budget year as part of the agreement.
The district also didn’t eliminate any positions this year, but added an additional second grade teacher.
