(KAIR) -- While a majority of Monday’s USD 339 school board’s meeting was behind closed doors analyzing personnel evaluations in executive session, with no action taken afterward, the board accepted a retirement resignation of a long time instructor at the end of their meeting.
Doug Mailen, English Instructor and Librarian at Jefferson County North High School will retire at the end of the school year.
Mailen has been with the district for 34 years.
