Citizens of Easton or those traveling through will need to expect delays on roadways the next several months coming up in April.
The Easton City Council learned in Monday night’s meeting from K-DOT that state highway 192 will have a mill and overlay project that will last through the 2012 construction season.
A pilot car will guide vehicles through the construction during the project.
The council also continued discussion on whether they will increase water and sewer rates.
City Clerk Jere Chieppo says they are awaiting further information before acting on the measure.

The transport will be in Easton on March 15th and 16th offering a reduced cost for the procedure.
Citizens are asked to call and make an appointment at lchs inc dot org or by phone at 913-728-2881.
A new water line was replaced near Dawson Creek by Divi Construction at a cost of 18 thousand dollars.
The council also heard a presentation from local girl scouts, seeking permission to work on a merit badge project to replace playground equipment at the park.
The city plans to match the funds raised by the scouts for the project.
