Atchison Co Comm. Look to City for River Rd Collabo
Citizens traveling River Road north and south of Atchison may encounter a few headaches in travel in the coming months.
In Monday’s regular semi-weekly meeting, Atchison County Commissioners are looking to work with the city jointly in repair of the road that lines the Missouri River.
Atchison County Commissioner Jeff Schuele says there are several options that need to be weighted.

He says it’s an important road with increased traffic in the past several years.

Commissioners also finalized language on a resolution modifying burn permits.
They plan to act on the matter in Wednesday’s meeting.
