(KLZA)-- During last weeks Auburn City Council meeting discussion was held concerning the City, working with the School on building projects and possibly setting up public meetings to discuss options.
Mayor Scott Kudrna explained there has been much discussion in the community about projects such as a performing arts center, a convention center, an indoor pool and a new gym. While much of the discussion has been held by individual entities, Kudrna feels it would be a good idea for the City and School District to discuss how they could work together to accomplish these goals.
Mayor Kudrna says by the entities working together, it would offer options on how fund the projects. He said it is important to get the publics input and then research the pros and cons of each idea to come up with a final goal.
No formal meetings have been scheduled at this point.
