(KAIR) -- With another school year in the books for most area schools, that means the end of careers for some teachers.
Atchison County Community Schools in Effingham recently honored this year’s retirees.
They include: Pat Forge, Lorraine Strine, Mary Barnett and Sue Ellerman.
School board member Cindy Ladd will also be leaving office at the end of June.
At Atchison Public Schools, they honored: Noel Rueb, John Crittendon, Sylvia Reynolds, Jenny Durkin, Dixie Gilson, Mary Vandeloo and Cliff Lehew.
