(KAIR) -- A bid has been accepted to begin renovation work on historic Memorial Hall in Atchison.
County Commissioners Monday afternoon unanimously approved the bid from PCI Dahmer of Grandview, Missouri for just over 185 thousand dollars to replace windows, doors and lentils on the structure.
The Commissioner approval is contingent on approval from the Kansas Historical Society for the project.
PCI has estimated a 60 day timeframe in the bid from the time the full contract is signed for project completion.
An official from River Bluff Architects hopes the project is complete at some point this summer.
