(KAIR) -- Atchison County hosted a reception Wednesday afternoon to honor its three outgoing elected officials.
Commissioner Tom Wagner will be retiring after eight years in office while Sheriff John Calhoon will be leaving after nearly 19 years of service after being defeated in the November General Election.
Register of Deeds Marlene Wagner will be leaving the post she's held since 1993.

The employee's in Wagner’s office are also holding a public party for her on Friday from nine until noon in the Register of Deeds office.
