After Commissioners met with consultant Hays Company Monday afternoon, they unanimously decided on a modification of the current state insurance plan.

That’s Commissioner Jeff Schuele.
He says despite the increase, Commissioners hope to eventually leave the state’s plan.

Commissioners also received a notice of resignation from GIS Tech Tony Redden effective the end of the week.
Appraiser Jim Lampe, who oversees his department, says the reasons for Redden’s resignation is not business related and he’s open to return to the position by November 15th.
Lampe says in the meantime, he is getting assistance from other GIS techs throughout the state to continue mapping in the county.
