A Lincoln man is in custody following the execution of a search
Warrant in Pawnee City Tuesday morning.
The Nebraska State Patrol served the search warrant at around 10:20 Tuesday morning at 431 F Street in Pawnee City, as part of an ongoing investigation involving a controlled substance - marijuana.
State Patrol Spokesperson Deb Collins says 43-year-old Joel J. Watermeier of Lincoln was arrested without incident. He was being held in the Johnson County Jail on an initial charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Collins says more arrests are possible as part of the investigation.
The Pawnee County Sheriff’s Department, Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, and Pawnee County Attorney assisted the State Patrol in Tuesday’s search.
