The caretaker of Atchison County Lake is looking to eliminate out of county dumpers near the lake.
Gail Statler met with County Commissioners this week to notify them of the ongoing problem.
She reported that she monitors the dumping and reports to either the Sheriff or Solid Waste Supervisor if there are any out of county dumpers.
County Commissioner Jeff Schuele says this may put the future of a dumping site in the area up in the air.

Commissioners have completed five interviews for the Emergency Management and Noxious Weed Director position vacated last month by Lori Chew.
Four more interviews will take place in executive session on Friday, due to two commissioners attending an out of town conference Wednesday.
