Officials at Highland Community College are receiving messages from concerned parents about the cost of completing the FAFSA report, a document that is required for students seeking financial aid at colleges and universities.
Those concerned parents had used the fafsa.com Web address to get information.
The correct Web address is fafsa.gov, which is a free government address that provides information about financial aid opportunities.
Concerned parents can also get information on FAFSA and Highland financial aid at the College’s Web site at www.highlandcc.edu, click on Admissions, then Financial Aid, or call the HCC Financial Aid Office at 785.442.6023.
