It was a big day for many local area student athletes as they signed their national letter of intent with the college they will be attending next year.
Many area student athletes in a wide variety of sports signed with community colleges, Division III schools and one signed with a Division I school to play football, yesterday. Senior linebacker, Rod Riederer of Holton, signed his national letter of intent to play Division I football with the University of Tulsa. Reiderer was the leading rusher for the Holton Wildcats last season, rushing for 649 yards, while also playing defense, making 107 tackles on the season, all earning him All-Class 4A honors for this past season.
