Nebraska High School Football Play-off Bracket Set

The Nebraska High School Football Play-off field is set, after the NSAA released the play-off brackets Saturday.
 In Class C-1, Falls City, which won its district with a 35-28 victory over Lincoln Christian Friday night, will get a first round home game.  The Tigers, at 6-2, are the number-8 seed in the east bracket and will play number-9 seed Boys Town at 7:00 p.m. Thursday. 
 Other Class C-1 first round games have number-12 seed Syracuse at Ashland-Greenwood; #14 seed Lincoln Lutheran at Pierce; #10 seed Lincoln Christian at Columbus Lakeview; and #6 seed Wilber-Clatonia home against Columbus Scotus; and #16 seed Raymond Central at Norfolk Catholic.
 Falls City Sacred Heart will also be home in the first round of the play-offs. The 8-0 Irish are the number-two seed in the east bracket and will host 15-seed Diller-Odell in a first round game Thursday.  The game is scheduled to begin at 3:45 Thursday afternoon.  
 Humphrey St. Francis is the top seed in the east bracket.  They host #16 seed Lewiston in a first round game Thursday.  Another D-2 first round game has Sterling, the number-four seed, hosting Wynot.
 Class D-1 first round games include Pawnee City, a 13 seed, at Bruning-Davenport-Shickley.  Freeman is the 3rd seed in the east bracket and will host Nebraska City Lourdes.
 In Class C-2, first round games include Southern, the number-7 seed, home against Oakland-Craig, #3-seed Elmwood-Murdock home against Ponca, and #13 Tri-County at Archbishop Bergan.
