(KLZA)--Richardson County Commissioners met with D.A. Davidson representative Andy Forney this week to receive information in regards to additional funding for the change orders involved with the Richardson County Jail / Law Enforcement Center.
During the October 18th Board meeting, Commissioners will consider a resolution to provide for an additional $273,000 funding through a limited obligation jail bond.
This amount would also cover the anticipated costs for kitchen equipment in the building.
During their Tuesday meeting the Board opened five bids for equipment ranging from a low bid of just under $52,000 up to nearly $62,000.
Commissioners also reviewed a proposal from Prochaska & Associates, the architectural firm on the Jail / Law Enforcement Center regarding the design of the kitchen area. The proposal will be given further consideration during the meeting on the 18th.
