(KLZA)-- Richardson County Commissioners approved the purchase of two used Chevrolet Silverado pickups from Armbruster Motor Company in Falls City during their Tuesday meeting. Both are 2005 models with approximately 70,000 miles on them. One was $17,000 and the other was $18,000. Both will be used by the Road and Bridge Department.
Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert was appointed as authorized agent for the disaster declaration for Richardson County.
Commissioners also adopted a resolution for Richardson County to participate in the Southeast Nebraska Development District and entered into an interlocal agreement to join SENDD.
Board members also spent a portion of their meeting time reviewing the Fiscal Year 2015-16 budget proposals.
