(KLZA)-- The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners received a number of reports when they met this week.
Terry Brethouwer presented the quarterly Southeast Nebraska Community Action report. UNL Extension Educator Karly Black presented the annual and quarterly report during the meeting.
Emergency Manager Cline Strayhorn met with Commissioners regarding 911 updates. Strayhorn was appointed to represent Pawnee County on the Southeast Region 911 Communications Committee.
A public hearing on the One and Six Year Pawnee County Highway Improvement Plan was held. No one from the public was present to offer input. Following the hearing the plan was approved as submitted.
Correspondence from United Healthcare Insurance was reviewed. This is the new healthcare insurance provider for Pawnee County employees.
