(KTNC) -- Republican candidates for Governor, U.S. Senate, and Nebraska Attorney General have been invited to attend a forum in Johnson this month.
The Republican Party organizations in Johnson, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, and Richardson Counties have scheduled the forum from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, at the American Legion Hall in Johnson.
Nemaha County GOP Chairman Ken Riley says with so many candidates running for those offices, they want southeast Nebraska Republican voters to have a chance to meet the candidates before the May 13 Primary.
There are currently six Republicans running for governor, four for U.S. Senate, and four for Attorney General. Riley says three of the gubernatorial candidates, two Senate candidates, and all four Attorney General candidates currently plan to attend, and they hope all the candidates will be able to make it to the forum.
