(KTNC) - The Falls City Veteran’s Day program will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Falls City High School Gymnasium.
The guest speaker for this year’s program is Captain Daniel Fritz. He is the son of Lyle and Noala Fritz of Verdon and a 2003 graduate of Dawson-Verdon High School.
He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 2008 and is currently assigned to the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, at Fort Riley, Kansas.
The program will also include performances by the Falls City High School Band and Chorus.
The Veteran’s Day Parade will begin at 1:30 that afternoon, going down Stone Street from 20th to 13th Street.
The Veteran’s Day Supper will be held at the First United Methodist Church beginning at 6:00 p.m.
