(KLZA) -- Giffith Park in Mound City will host the 4th annual Great Northwest Winefest on Saturday in Mound City between noon and 8 p-m.
For a $20 donation you can sample wine and will receive an etched glass. The fee is $10 for those not tasting and minors. Proceeds from the event go to the continuation of the Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitations which provide free, confidential business coaching available in Holt, Atchison, Andrew, Gentry, Nodaway and Worth counties.
At least a half dozen wines made with grapes raised in Mound City will be available for tasting and purchase during the event.
There will be food vendors set up and renowned artist Jim Pettijohn, a Holt County native will be showing his work.
If the weather is not cooperative, there will be heaters and that most everything will be done under a roof.
