(KTNC) - A new exhibit will open at the Stalder Gallery in Falls City early next month. The exhibit titled “Elusive matter,” featuring the prints and artist books of Karen Kunc, opens with a gallery talk on Friday, September 6 and a workshop on September 7.
The Richardson County Arts and Humanities Council is sponsoring both events. The gallery talk will begin at 7:00 p.m. on September 6, with the doors to the Library opening at 6:00 p.m.
Participants at the monoprint workshop will generate cut stencil designs and use those in combination with commercial craft stencils, relief plates of textures and designs, and prepared wood blocks. The workshop, for adults only, costs $20 and is limited to the first ten people to register. Call Gallery Curator Christina Wertenberger at 402-245-6034 to register.
