Humboldt Library Windows to be Replaced, After City Receives Nuisance Letter
06/19/2013

(KTNC) -  The Humboldt City Council received an update on nuisance property enforcement Tuesday night.  Code Enforcer Emily Bausch presented the update in a slide show to the council.
Letters were sent out 30 days ago to property owners who need to clean properties or make repairs, and Bausch said she believes that improvements have been made since then.
One of the nuisance letters was sent to the City of Humboldt itself, due to some broken windows on the second floor of the Library building.  The council awarded a bid to McNealy Construction to replace five windows and enclose two doors in the Library at a cost of $1,650.
In other business Tuesday, the Humboldt Council gave Humboldt Girls Softball permission to use restrooms in the Auditorium and the Public Restrooms during Saturday’s truck show.
And the council approved an increase in the Assistant Pool Manager’s salary from $2800 to $3000.
