Friday Falls City Fire Consumes Car
09/17/2012

(KTNC) - Falls City Volunteer Fire Fighters put out a car fire over the noon hour Friday.
Fire Chief Ken Simpson says the fire started shortly after noon, at the home of Craig and Jessica Hayes at 623 Wilson Street.  Simpson says they had just come home for lunch when an electrical short caused the car to catch on fire.
The fire destroyed the car, but Simpson says there was no other damage to either the house or carport.
Fire fighters were on the scene for about half-an-hour Friday.
