(KAIR) -- A rural Easton man was killed when he became pinned under a vehicle following a single-vehicle accident Saturday night on Millwood Road in Leavenworth County near his residence.
Thirty-year-old- Raymond P. Milner was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 11:02 about a mile east of 243rd Street.
According to an accident report submitted by the Leavenworth County Sheriff's Department, Milner had been driving east on Millwood Road in a 1996 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck.
Witnesses said Milner was traveling at a high rate of speed.
After going through a curve, the truck’s passenger-side tires apparently went off the road.
The truck came back onto the road, crossing the center line and going into the right side ditch.
The truck then rolled multiple times, ejecting Milner from the vehicle.
He became trapped under the truck as it came to rest in the ditch on its driver’s side.
He was the only person in the vehicle.
The accident report says alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash.
