Three members of the Peru Student Education Association have been elected to represent future Nebraska teachers at the National Education Association Representative Assembly this summer.
Junior Megan Brown of Syracuse, and seniors Devin Garcia of Diller and L.A. Adams of Beatrice were elected by the Student Education Association of Nebraska to represent the state’s more than 1,500 student members at the national meeting.
The Peru Student Education Association has also been awarded the Student Education Association of Nebraska’s 2012 Local Chapter Excellence Award.
The PSEA sponsors several community outreach efforts annually, and members attended several statewide events this year.
The National Assembly will be held June 26th through July 6th in Washington, D.C.
