Falls City Animal Clinic at Prichard Auditorium

Dog and cat owners in Falls City can get their pets up-to-date on their vaccinations and licenses during the upcoming animal clinic. The annual clinic will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22nd, at Prichard Auditorium.
Animal Health Center staff will be on hand to provide vaccinations. Rabies vaccinations – for animals at least five months of age – are $15. Other vaccinations will also be available at the clinic.
Falls City ordinances require all dogs and cats, age six months and older, residing within city limits be licensed. Male and spayed female licenses are six dollars, and licenses for un-spayed females are $11. You must present your animal’s current rabies vaccination when obtaining the license, which expires in May of each year. The cost of the license doubles after May.
Owners of dogs considered dangerous need to provide written proof that the animal has been spayed or neutered and that they owner carries at least $100,000 of liability insurance with premium payment sufficient to cover at least one year of coverage.
Dogs considered dangerous under city ordinance include American pit bull terriers, American Staffordshire terriers, Staffordshire bull terriers, Rottweiler, bull mastiffs, Italian mastiffs, canis panthers, presna canario, or any mix of those breeds.
