Nebraska State Colleges Tuition Increase Announced
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Tuition is going up on for students at
three Nebraska colleges this fall.
The Nebraska State College Board of Trustees has approved a 3.5
percent increase for students at Chadron, Peru and Wayne state
colleges.
For in-state undergraduates, tuition will go up $4.75 per credit
hour to $140 - or an additional $71 for a fulltime student taking
15 credit hours.
Tuition was raised 5 percent for online courses. The board also
approved a rate of $50 per credit hour for dual enrollment courses,
which are offered to high school juniors and seniors.
The three colleges serve about 9,000 students and offer over 200
degree, certificate and pre-professional programs.
