(KLZA)-- Richardson County Attorney Doug Merz met with the Board of Commissioners this week to review and agreement with the City of Auburn that was returned for filing, but had been altered to read with the “Auburn Board of Public Works.” Commissioners directed Merz to inform the City of Auburn the agreement is not valid due to the alteration of the document and that if the agreement was not executed by the City of Auburn and returned to Richardson County, the power line the agreement concerns must then be removed.
The agreement was for the permission to use county road right-of-way between 719 and 720 Road to install a power line.
