(KLZA)-- The Humboldt City Council this week tabled discussion on repairs to Lake Park Street. The estimated cost for all the work as a single project is $41,000. The Council has decided to review the project costs if the work were split into two separate projects and prioritizing which project is done first.
The Humboldt Swimming Pool will open on Saturday, May 23rd. Pool fees for this year will remain the same as last year. Pool Manager Quentin Coatney will be paid a salary of $4,400 for the season. The Assistant Pool Manager will be paid $9 per hour.
The council approved hiring Rex Rudder as part-time summer help for the maintenance Department. A City Wide Clean Up event is planned for early June.
