(USDA / KLZA)-- The Richardson County FSA Office will be hosting Women in Ag Day on Tuesday, April 28, 9:00-11:30 am at the Falls City Public Library.
This year's event will feature FSA and NRCS Program Updates, Nikki Dunn of Dunn Greenery, and Cherri Beam-Callaway, of the Nebraska Humanities Council.
Nikki will present a program on springtime pots including selection and arrangements. Cherri will perform "Promise in a New Land." A story that will transport you in time, sailing the ocean, riding the wagon trail, feeling the loneliness and fighting prairie fires. You will laugh and cry with the stories of successful crops, dancing, hard work, losing loved ones and most importantly, becoming an American.
Homemade treats, coffee and tea will be served. Door prizes will also be given! Please call and RSVP to the FSA Office at 402-245-2401 ext. 2 by Friday, April 24.
