Humboldt Mayor Riley Resigning

(KLZA)-- The Humboldt City Council is expected to accept a letter of resignation from Mayor Mike Riley when they meet Tuesday night at 7.

Riley was appointed Mayor then was elected to the position in 2014.  Riley will be moving out of town for a business opportunity. It is anticipated that Humboldt Council President Crystal Dunekacke will be appointed to the position of Mayor. 

The regular meeting agenda includes a discussion on code enforcement, an interlocal agreement on water, ordinance updates, a building permit for the Quad County Museum and a discussion on mosquito spraying for this year.
