(KLZA)-- Work is scheduled to begin the week of September 15 on US-75 Highway, north of Auburn.
According to the Nebraska Department or Roads, the nearly mile long project will be completed by Herbst Construction, Inc., of Le Mars, Iowa. The cost of the concrete repair project will be $125,151. Concrete work will be done on abutments of slab bridges and to replace preformed expansion joints on the viaduct north of Auburn.
Traffic on this project will be controlled by closing two lanes on the viaduct and operating two lanes head-to-head with a 10-foot width restriction. The project is anticipated to be completed this fall.
The Department of Roads’ project manager is Bill Jasa of Tecumseh. Motorists are urged to use caution when driving through construction zones.
