(KTNC) - One lane of southbound Interstate 29 near Mound City is closed and width restrictions are in place.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says repairs to a bridge on the southern edge of Mound City prompted the lane closure. The southbound driving lane of I-29 was closed Thursday and will remain closed through the weekend.
MoDOT officials say the lane should reopen on Monday afternoon, weather permitting. Traffic delays are possible.
While the work is underway, MoDOT had put a 14-foot width restriction in place for all southbound traffic.
