(KTNC) - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Richardson County Wednesday afternoon involving a county-owned dump truck.
According to Nebraska State Patrol Spokesperson Deb Collins, the crash occurred shortly after 1:30 at the intersection of Highways 62 and 67 near Shubert.
Collins says a Richardson County dump truck was eastbound on 62 and failed to yield at a stop sign. A northbound Chevy Silverado struck the right side of the dump truck as the truck attempted to cross Highway 67.
The driver of the dump truck, Stephen Randall and the pickup driver, Carmen Morehead, were taken to the Falls City Hospital with what Collins describes as non-life threatening injuries.
No citations were immediately issued, but Collins says the Nebraska State Patrol is continuing its investigation.
