(KTNC) -- Falls City Tiger Fans are invited to help send the boys’ basketball team off to the state tournament this week. A pep rally is planned at the High School on Wednesday evening.
High School Principal Gale Dunkhas says fans can come to the High School beginning at 5:45 and the pep rally will start at 6:00, before the team leaves for Lincoln at 6:20 p.m.
Dunkhas expects a large contingent of Tiger fans to make their way to Lincoln on Thursday to watch Falls City’s first round game Thursday. Excitement has built through the post-season, including the District Final win over Lincoln Christian, which saw Falls City fans fill up one side of the gym at Nebraska City High School and spill over to the Lincoln Christian side.
Falls City plays Wahoo at 10:45 Thursday morning at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
