The Falls City Tiger girls and boys track teams competed at the Nebraska City Invitational on Tuesday. The Lady Tigers scored 44 points good for a sixth place finish. The Tiger boys were also 6th with32 points.
Maryville won the boys title with 194 points, Plattsmouth was second with 156. For the girls Plattsmouth won the meet with 164 points. Maryville was second with 159.5.
Top finishers for the Tigers on the day were Tressa Chandler with a third place finish in the high jump; Hailey Baxter was third in the shot; Claire Poppe was third in both the 100 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles.
The top finish for the boys was a tie for third in the high jump by Zach Jordening and fourth place finishes by Jordy Stoller in the long jump; Cord Huettner in the shot and the 3200 meter relay team of Anthony Ritter, Tate Hayes, Cody Schawang and David Von Behren and the 1600 meter relay team of Lucas Kirkendall, Cody Schawang, Jordy Stoller and Josh Stoller.
