(KTNC) - A young man from Pickrell, Nebraska was killed in a one-vehicle accident southeast of Adams Saturday morning.
The Lincoln Journal-Star reports that 21-year-old Phillip Schoen was thrown from his Ford pickup in a field off South 162nd Road just south of East Birch Road at about 8:15 Saturday morning.
Schoen was employed at Otto Farms of Adams.
The Gage County Sheriff’s office says Schoen was not wearing a seat belt and speed and alcohol may have been factors in the accident.
