Falls City Elementary Students to Clean Up

(KTNC) - Falls City elementary school children will lend a hand in cleaning up the town this week.
 To help mark Earth Day and the spring community clean up, students will pick up trash around their schools and in Falls City parks this Thursday and Friday. 
 The youngsters will work the clean up around NESA (nee-suh) tests and the Field Day activities. 
Preschool kids will clean up around their playground area; Kindergarteners will clean up around the North School grounds; 1st graders will walk to the Water Tower Park; 2nd graders will go to Stanton Lake; 3rd graders will clean the South School grounds; 4th graders will do the practice football field; and 5th graders will ride a bus to Dallas Jones Park to clean up on Thursday.
Parents are reminded that students should dress appropriately for the weather those days.
An Earth Day program is scheduled at the F-C-L-and-A Center from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on April 24th.
