(KTNC) - The Mound City Council will hold its February meeting at 5:30 Thursday evening at City Hall.
The council will open bids for a new truck for the Street Department; will discuss specs for roof repairs to the pool bathhouse and new play equipment at Griffith Park; and will discuss hiring summer help at the Water Plant.
Henry Just of Audrey’s Motel and Jack Patel of the Super 8 will meet with the council about the lodging tax proposal. Eric Chamberlain of the Chamberlain Funeral Home is scheduled to meet with the council about streetlights on Ridge Drive and Weightman Road.
Old business for the council includes information on a Safe Routes to School Grant for Sidewalks, and the Davis Creek Bridge Project.
