(KTNC) - The Mound City Board of Aldermen will hold its December meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at City Hall.
Old business includes more discussion on the subdivision regulations for sidewalks and replacing sidewalks in town when they are removed. Discussion also will take place on a potential lodging tax.
Under new business, Aldermen will open bids for the sale of property at 508 Mound Street. They will consider an ordinance later in the meeting to authorize the sale of that property.
Discussion will also take place regarding two other properties – at 501 State Street and 1012 Mill Street.
The Council is expected to approve a measure calling for Municipal Elections to be held on April 2, 2013. Mound City voters will elect on Alderman from each ward.
Another ordinance will be considered calling for Mound City to submit a proposal to voters for a Street Light Tax Levy.
Aldermen will also hear department reports during Thursday’s meeting.
