(KAIR) -- Effingham’s rescue building will soon receive upgrades.
Atchison County Commissioner Jeff Schuele says the board approved a bid Wednesday from Kearney Construction in the amount of 50 thousand 750 dollars.

Work on the building upgrade is expected to be completed by the end of the year in time for the implementation of the countywide ambulance service on January 1st.
