(KAIR) -- A major intersection that takes you to either Saint Joseph or Platte City is still planned to undergo major changes.
Originally with a September 15th deadline, the project to convert the “Y” that divides Missouri Highway 45 to U.S. Highway 59 near Sugar Lake in Buchanan County from a two-way to four-way stop has been delayed.

This project goes along with the roadwork that was recently completed to improve a 15 mile portion of roadway from just north of U.S. Highway 59 in Buchanan County south on Route 45 through Weston to just south of Route 273 in Platte County.
