(KTNC) - Entries are now being accepted for the Peru State College Homecoming Parade, scheduled for Saturday, September 29th. The theme of this year’s homecoming festivities is “Sea of Blue.”
Entry forms are available on the Peru State College website, and must be submitted by Friday, September 14. Cash prizes or trophies will be awarded based on entries which best represent the homecoming theme.
The categories are: floats, with prizes of $150 for first place, $125 for second place, and $100 for third place; decorated vehicles, with a $100 first place prize, $75 for second, and $50 for third place; and classic cars, with trophies awarded for the top three entries.
Parade participants will be contacted directly with additional information regarding the route and parade line-up.
This year marks the 92nd annual homecoming celebration at Peru State College.
