(KAIR) -- Two Atchison County teens were injured a single-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon about 4 miles southwest of Lancaster.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred shortly after 1:30 on Greeley Road, just north of 274th Road.
The Patrol says 16-year-old Erica Dieckmann of Effingham was traveling south when for an unknown reason her car entered the west ditch. Dieckmann overcorrected and then went into the east ditch. Her vehicle then struck a fence and utility pole, rolled, and came to rest on its top.
Dieckmann and a passenger, 15-year-old Gage Walker of Lancaster, were taken to Atchison Hospital with unknown injuries.
A second passenger, 15-year-old Willy Dieckmann of Effingham, was not hurt.
The patrol says all occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
